225: A PAIR OF ELABORATE GEORGE III GILTWOOD BRACKETS

The carved and gessoed yellow pine brackets of openwork foliate design and spread wing eagle figures depicted in great detail of feathers and other features, shaped top shelves with cove molded edge may be later, circa late 18th to early 19th century.
Each measures 20.5 x 11.75 x 11 inches.
Very good condition throughout, no damage, repair or heavy wear the top shelves may be later.
Provenance: A prominent Kansas City family's home at The Walnuts.
