258: BOULLE DECORATION 19TH C INKWELL AND MINIATURE PAINTING

The Boulle work double inkwell stand with integral pen tray and its original ink pots is offered with a finely rendered miniature painting after the 17th century painting The Expulsion Of Hagar And Ishmael originally by Giovanni Benedetto Castiglione (Italian, 1609 - 1664), This miniature copy is illegibly signed lower edge and displayed in a Boulle type decoration frame from the mid 19th century.
Inkwell measures 1.75 x 14 x 8.5 and the frame is 7 x 6.25 inches.
Both pieces are in very good condition throughout, no damage, repair or heavy wear.
