The fiery Midwest landscape is signed by E. E. Glass lower right front. The artist is apparently (and effectively) paying homage to Claude Monet and the Haystack series of works depicting simple, rural impressionist landscapes at sunset with amazing visual intensity.

Everett Emerson Glass is a recently re-discovered artist largely self-taught and most associated with Kansas and the West.
Measures 10 x 14 inches.
Very good original untouched condition. There are no issues of major scratches, losses, repairs, in-painting or touch-up.
