Receiver from 1904 production is stamped U.S. SPRINGFIELD ARMORY MODEL 1903 and serial number in old script, the barrel marked 'S A' with flaming bomb and '5-06' near the front sight, straight-grip walnut stock is stamped with circled P by the trigger guard, metal butt plate, canvas sling.

This gun qualifies for shipping directly to a holder of FFL Type 03 License - Collector of Curios and Relics.
Measures overall 42 inches with 24 inch barrel.
Good condition, 50% or better finish, barrel and receiver has a nice patina, stock with a several dings, scratches, chips and a crack. Bore condition: Possible light pitting, strong rifling, inconclusive examination.
