151: AN ART DECO INFLUENCE FOLK ART CARVED PANEL

The found object in the medium of yellow pine is relief carved with linen fold, checkerboard squares and the motif of stylized florals often seen in terra cotta relief on 1930s architecture. The half-obscured bust of a woman with hair in stylized curls is on the far right. The back side of the panel confirms its salvage origin.
Board measures 19 x 11 inches.
