77: DECORATED 1840s PLANK SEAT CHAIRS IN ORIGINAL PAINT

The assembled set of American country Sheraton influence chairs from the 2nd quarter of the 19th century retain the majority of their faux grain finish and are embellished with ochre pin striping, stenciled flower heads and other hand painted flourishes in red and black on the splat and elsewhere.
Each measures 31 x 14.25 x 20 inches. Height to seat is 16.75 inches.
Good original condition, there are no issues of damage or repair, light to moderate wear in areas.
