26: A GOOD 19TH C. AMERICAN BUTTER CHURN IN ORIGINAL PAINT

The nice example in tapered form of pine stave construction is bound in sheet iron bands and fitted with what is most likely the original dasher on an ash handle polished by use. The original cover in matching blue green paint is turned with a central reservoir in top for spillage.
Measures 45.5 x 12 inches.
Very good original condition throughout, no damage, repair or heavy wear.
