43: CUSHING DAIRY COW WEATHERVANE IN FINE ORIGINAL GILDING

The full bodied copper weathervane by Cushing and White is found with its exceptional original gilt finish largely intact. The portions not displaying the original surface are accented by naturally occurring highlights of verdigris that serve to create a totally unique and attractive example with excellent patina.
Measures 16.5 x 28 x 6.25 inches.
Very good original condition, noting a puncture at the end of the nose on one side. There are no other issues of damage, repair or heavy wear.
