The classic sampler retaining a wide range of colors is centered by a eight-line verse surrounded by various floral, fruit and vine borders interspersed with motifs of birds, dogs, trees, flowerheads and larger motifs of a lion, fruit basket and conical trees.
Sight size is 19 x 16.25 with a framed size of 22 x 19.75 inches.
Very good condition, noting some toning of the linen but with nice color, no damage or repair.
