55: A NEVER-BEFORE-SEEN FISHING BOY SHOOTING GALLERY TARGET

The large, thick, heavy iron mechanical shooting gallery target is formed as a single 46-inch iron casting mounted to an iron base plate. The right arm pivots on an pin to drop with a successful shot. Apparatus back side of the 'hand' on that animated arm indicates that a flag, or fishing pole or other prop could be added there for added effect. No maker's mark or attributions.
Measures 46.5 x 16 x 9 inches.
Very good condition as shown in layers of old craquelure park paint and with minor losses to the mechanism back side.
