132: A VERY RARE MAXFIELD PARRISH HAND COLORED PRINT C. 1909

As documented verso by Stephen Hutak, owner of The Dream Gardner, authorities on Maxfield Parrish, this print, described as a Platinum Print, is one of only 25 of its type printed by Dodge Publishing in 1909 and colored by hand using watercolors. While photogravures of this image were produced in quantity, only 25 in this medium were produced, making this a very rare example. It is displayed in a fine and very appropriate hand made frame of later vintage.
Measures 9.5 x 23 inches.
Very good to fine condition, the full untrimmed sheet, not laid down, no damage, stain, punctures, tears or repair; framed to archival standards in acid free mounts.
