The unbound book is titled THE KIT-KAT CLUB DONE From the Original Paintings OF SIR GODFREY KNELLER BY MR. FABER 1735 on the title page.

A book of forty-six mezzotint portraits of members of the Kit Cat Club, along with a portrait of the artist Sir Godfrey Kneller, engraved by John Faber The Younger (1684-1756) after the originals painted during the years 1700-1720 by Sir Godfrey Kneller. The unbound, uncut volume is housed in a later clamshell with red cloth and leather spine.

The Kit Cat Club was an early 18th-century English club in London with strong political and literary associations committed to the promotion of Whig objectives.
Each sheet measures 18.5 x 11.5 inches.
