25: A GORHAM STERLING SILVER GOLF TROPHY WITH ENAMEL C 1900

The loving cup form is centered by applied crossed golf clubs and a fired on golfing scene hand painted in enamels over silver.

Engraving reads: Presented to the Keokuk Country Club by A. E. Johnstone, along with inscriptions of winners from the years 1899 through 1903.
Measures 4 x 6 inches. Weight 9.4 ounces troy.
Very good condition, noting two very shallow dents on the swollen waist back side. No chips, cracks or repairs to the enamel.
