129: A WEST TURKESTAN TEKKE SCATTER RUG CIRCA 1910

The brick red field with three columns of nine guls supported by secondary hooked rhombus guls, within a continuous stepped gul border, chevron serrated leaf horizontal banded ends.
Measures 46 x 36 inches without fringe.
Nice intact original sides and ends with original skirts, even overall, thick pile. No damage, repair, mothing, stain or odor.
Provenance: Phil Martin Estate. Phil's interest in Persian and Caucasian weavings began in the 1980's when he met Michael Grogan, who was still with Sotheby's at the time.
