The brightly colored field with two columns of rectangular tiles, each enclosing a hooked and stepped star filled medallion all enclosed within a saffron border enclosing with continuous star medallions linked by bracket vine.
Measures 93 x 57 inches.
Nice intact original sides and ends.. Nice even pile overall. No damage, repair, mothing, stain or odor. No heavy wear, corroded browns as expected.
Provenance: Phil Martin Estate. Phil's interest in Persian and Caucasian weavings began in the 1980's when he met Michael Grogan, who was still with Sotheby's at the time.
