The work on panels of handmade paper with a layered edge was purchased in Hong Kong from a show of the artist's work in 1974. Leung has experimented with multiple media and techniques since the 1960s. Not until the 1980s did he begin painting landscapes in the traditional Chinese style. This work is from an earlier period when the artist borrowed from the Washington Color School that emphasized color field painting.

One panel is signed illegibly along the lower edge. Both panels are displayed as a proper pair in a UV plexiglass enclosure.
Each sheet measures 31.25 x 11 and a framed size of 39 x 32 inches.
Very good original untouched condition. There are no issues of losses, repairs, in-painting or touch-up.
