9827: UNUSUAL GILT AND ENAMEL MOSER JUG WITH APPLIED LEAVES

The interesting example, unusual in form and blending of techniques, is embellished in all-over enamel relief decoration of winged insects, butterflies, and Moser's stylized Japanese Kakaimon rose blossom motif; with accents of thick electric blue glass leaf applications that originate as four supporting feet covered in gold. The gilt handle is adorned in a blue glass leaf application as well.
Measures 11 x 7 inches.
Very good condition. There are no chips, cracks, repairs, scratches or areas of heavy wear.
