85: A FINE, LARGE, AND UNUSUAL TWO GREY HILLS RUG 120 x 69
The fine and unusual Navajo weaving is of classic design, but with exceptional attributes that include:
1. The unusually large size.
2. The subtle, limited placement of unusual turquoise colored highlights in the weaving.
3. The two complex and very well resolved guard borders surrounding the central double lozenge medallion.
4. The overall appeal of the weaving as a whole.
5. The very good condition.
Measures 120 x 69 inches.
Clean and odor free with intact edges, corner tassels and ends, no damage, mothing, repair or stain. There are four short stretches of separation of the outside wrap along the sides. There is one area of possible pet stain 6 x 7 inches, as shown in the images. One small half inch gouge in the red rack in one end. One small quarter inch in the brown of residue.
