103: A GOOD CIRCA 1930s NAVAJO WEAVING 4 X 6 FEET

The highly visual transitional weaving is loomed in an eye catching display of red diamonds serrated in black among similarly serrated diamonds, and half-diamonds, to create a pattern that the eye sees in two different ways, all enclosed with a simple narrow border. The red half-diamonds placed at each corner are an unusual feature.
Measures 72 x 48.5 inches.
Very good condition noting scattered minor tattering along the sides. No corner tassels. 1.5 inch fray dead center. Extremely minor bit of red color run. One end diamond.
