49: LATE 20TH CENTURY REALISM OIL ON PANEL

This oil on panel signed Dorman lower left and inscribed '76' is by a yet-to-be-identified artist. The work is interesting and good quality, in a bold but somber type of realism with an effective emphasis on anatomy and the sitter's features. The earthy tones and the craquelure surface also contribute to the overall moody feel.
Board measures 11 x 14.25 with a framed size of 15.5 x 18.5 inches.
