The original mixed media painting on Aquarelle Arches paper is inspired by the 'ledger art' that was created by captive Plains Indians in the 1870s. This work is signed Ahn Hia Ohm lower right front.

Ahn Hia Ohm, Kiowa for 'He knows', is the son of Yellowman, another famous Kiowa artist represented in this auction.

Ahn Hia Ohm's works are inspired by the 'ledger art' that captive Plains Indians executed on lined paper using colored pencils in the 1870s.
Sight size measures 14.75 x 21.75 with a framed size of 20.25 x 27.25 inches.
Obviously the condition is very good, very clean, intact, no visible stain, damage, repair, punctures or tears. This work has not been examined outside the frame.
