Clayton Staples spent many summers teaching and painting in Gloucester. He is also credited with establishing the Fine Arts program at Wichita State University during his tenure there from 1930 to 1950, after which he moved to Colorado.
Sight size measures 18 x 23 with a framed size of 30.75 x 35.75 inches.
Obviously the condition is very good, very clean, intact, no visible stain, damage, repair, punctures or tears. This work has not been examined outside the frame.
