The five-color segmented oval is represented in print and as an original painting on paper:

1. An original painted study of bisected oval in four primary colors on paper, the artist's working color scale lower left, and pencil signature lower right. Image measures 37 x 22.25 and sheet is 39 x 29.5 inches.

2. A serigraph printed on Rives watermarked paper after the above study and signed by the artist in pencil lower right with the inscription 7/9 lower left designating the edition. Image measures 37 x 22.25 and sheet is 40 x 29.5 inches.

1. Good condition, noting minor surface soiling, minor surface scuffs, the effects of age and storage.


2. Fine near mint condition, never framed, clean, no damage, stain, puncture, repair or mounting effects.
