The depiction of a young lady falconer on horseback with hooded a Peregrine on her arm is signed lower right in red pigment The style is reminiscent of many painters of early 20th century American illustration art, particularly those from the Brandywine school for its storybook quality if nothing else.
Canvas measures 29.25 x 21 with a framed size of 34.5 x 26.25 inches.
Very good original untouched condition. There are no issues of major scratches, losses, repairs, in-painting or touch-up. The canvas is loose and somewhat bowed.
