George Carlson is a very accomplished and widely recognized artist of the American West. He first gained prominence for his bronze sculptures, particularly those depicting Native American subjects. He later transitioned to painting, creating works that emphasize the interplay of light and atmosphere, like the work up for bid here.
Sight size measures 12.25 x 9.5 with a framed size of 20.5 x 18 inches.
Obviously the condition is very good, very clean, intact, no visible stain, damage, repair, punctures or tears. This work has not been examined outside the frame.
