The lithograph printed on Rives watermarked paper in an edition of only 35 prints is signed and dated by the artist in pencil lower right and titled lower left near the edition inscription of 35.

Wilson states that, ''I sat on the ground in a TP for 10 hours one October night to get material for this print. For me the privilege of being at this meeting will be the closest I'll ever come to having a religious experience while making a drawing.''

In Hunt's book, he states: In this drawing the central figure sings to the accompaniment of a gourd rattle. The subject at left plays a water drum. The man at right holds a cigarette made of tobacco leaves and dogwood bark wrapped in a corn shuck. It's smoke, along with the smoke of the fire in the center of the enclosure, carries the prayers of the singers to God through an opening in the ceiling.

There is no sign this print has ever been framed.
Image measures 10 x 13, sheet is 11.5H x 16W inches.
Very, very good condition, the full untrimmed sheet with deckle edges, not laid down, no damage, stain, punctures, tears or repair, never framed.
Provenance: A private Kansas collection, purchased directly from the artist.
