228: HASLER AND RUELLAN PENCIL SIGNED AAA PRINTS
1. Rudolf Hasler (Switzerland, 1927-2000) The El (1981). The etching, numbered 72 from an edition of 250 prints published by Associated American Artists, is signed by the artist in pencil below the image lower right and titled lower center, the original AAA publisher's label is present verso.
2. Andrée Ruellan (New York, 1905-2006) Duet [a.k.a. Duet at Home] (1942). The lithograph, from an edition of 250 prints published by Associated American Artists, is signed by the artist in pencil below the image lower right and titled lower left.
Hasler image measures 8.75 x 12.25 with a framed size of 17H x 20.5W inches. Ruellan image measures 8 x 11.5 with a framed size of 16.25H x 19W inches.
These works are from a private local collection of high-quality examples in excellent condition. Given our knowledge of this collector's standards, we've chosen not open the mounts to document these prints outside the frame. If for any reason related to condition the buyer is not completely satisfied, they are welcome to return their purchase for a complete refund. Winning bidders known to Soulis Auctions, or with a sufficient feedback rating on this platform, can choose to receive their winning(s) on approval with a 50% initial payment and the balance to be paid upon inspection, or return for a refund.
