278: ADOLF DEHN (1895-1968) LITHOGRAPH AND INK DRAWING
Adolf Arthur Dehn (1895-1968)
1. Innocence Dreaming (1946). The lithograph, numbered 2 from an edition of 30 prints, is signed by the artist in pencil below the image lower right and titled lower center.
2. Liberty and Union, One and Inseparable (1908). The early pen and ink on paper completed when the artist was 18 years old is signed verso and inscribed 'December 16, 1908, Waterville, Minn.'
Lithograph image measures 12 x 15.5 with a framed size of 23 x 19.75 inches. Drawing measures 7 x 18.25 with a framed size of 17.25 x 25.25 inches.
Apparently the condition is very good, very clean, intact, no visible stain, damage, repair, punctures or tears. These works have not been examined outside the frames.
Provenance: Private collection, Kansas City, Missouri.
