Medard Klein was an early American abstractionist who studied at the Art Institute of Chicago, the National Academy of Art and the Chicago Studio School of Art. During the 1930s and 1940s he exhibited in major institutions including the Museum of Non-Objective Painting/ Museum of Modern Art, Art Institute of Chicago, San Francisco Museum of Art, National Academy of Design.
Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts and others, including one of the few American artists invited to exhibit in ''Réalités Nouvelles'' in Paris.
Board measures 21.75 x 16.75 with a framed size of 28.75 x 24 x 3 inches.
Very good untouched condition. There are no issues of scratches, losses, repairs, in-painting or touch-up to any degree.
