The Eames Folding Screen Wood was designed in 1946. This example is comprised of six laminated ash panels domed to a trough-like form and joined by a heavy canvas hinge that allows each panel to nest within the other for storage or otherwise be adjusted to serve as ''functional partitions'' or ''organic decorative objects'', which is how they were marketed in mid 20th century catalogs.
Measures 68 x 60 inches.
Very good condition throughout, no damage, repair or heavy wear.
