Howard Carr is Vietnam war veteran artist who pursued formal art training at Choinard Art, college and later earned an MFA from California College of Arts and Crafts in Oakland. He's known for his impressionist oil paintings composed in thick, confident brush strokes, and passionate use of color. He teaches painting, workshops nationally and internationally and has authored articles in leading art magazines.
