210: A VEGETAL DYE NAVAJO CRYSTAL RUG WITH FEATHER MOTIF

The fine example from Crystal Trading Post in the Chuska Mountains of New Mexico is woven in wool on cotton warp. The traditional bands in muted shades of brown, yellow, and green are characteristic of the plant-based dyes used in this style, beginning in the 1940s.
Measures 49 x 42.25 inches.
Very good condition, no mothing, stain, damage, repair, or odor. Intact sides and ends.
