65: C. 1912 'CLIMAX' ANTIQUE PENCIL SHARPENER WITH FEEDER

Manufactured by the ubiquitous Automatic Pencil Sharpener Co of Chicago. A painted steel pencil sharpener with nickel plated handle and automatic feeder, pull-out shavings drawer and hinged cover that lifts to expose the cutters, the embossed brass label lists patent dates of 1900-1906 and gives instructions on removing the cutting blades and returning them to the manufacturer for sharpening. Measures 5.5 x 8 x 5 inches.
Chips and wear to the painted surfaces, turns freely, good working condition.
