193: A PAIR HEPPLEWHITE MAHOGANY KNIFE AND CUTLERY BOXES

A pair of circa 1800 knife and cutlery boxes with double serpentine hinged slant tops on conforming box set with an inlaid and 1237d slant mahogany interior tray. Each measure 15 x 11 x 9 inches each.
Both display chips and cracks near the locks, lost trim from the underside of the lid, minor separations commensurate with age. Good original finish, intact overall.
