316: TWO SMALL DESK TOP BRONZE SCULPTURES CIRCA 1900

Two works:
1. The figure of a monk beside an open cylindrical container in the form of a barrel and suitable for holding cigars, the monk having just uncorked a bottle. No signature or markings. Measures 7.25 x 3.25 x 7.5 inches.
2. A silvered bronze model on green marble depicting a young boy with goose, after the Hellenistic antiquity copied by Roman sculptor Boethus of Chalcedon. No markings found. Measures 3 x 5.25 x 5.5 inches.
Very good condition overall with original patina. One missing a mounting nut.
