49: AN OUTSTANDING OAK DOUBLE HAT BOX SERPENTINE DRESS

Circa 1880s American quartersawn oak dresser with a large central oval beveled mirror supported by squared off harps, bordered on the outside with raised drawers; flanked by unusual bow front hatbox cabinets suspended over the serpentine dresser top. Dresser includes additional four bow-front drawers and one large center serpentine drawer. Includes all-original fancy brass hardware, decorated with beading and high-relief scrollwork. Measures 80 x 56 x 24 inches. Very good restored condition.
