54: A QUARTERSAWN OAK RJ HORNER STYLE SIDEBOARD

Circa 1900 large quartersawn oak sideboard after the style of RJ Horner. Decorated with details of lion's heads, bellflowers and acanthus leaves, with fluted Corinthian columns supporting bonnet and bracketing lower front. Serpentine front contains bow-front drawers and door, and foliate carved side doors. Divided center top drawer includes original velvet lining. All original brass hardware, with functioning locks and keys. Includes three secret drawers. Measures 69 x 72 x 24 inches. Very good restored condition.
