76: A HORNER AND FLINT HEAVILY CARVED MAHOGANY SIDEBOA

Carved to death, attributed as RJ Horner and George Flint mahogany sideboard, circa 1890s. Huge bonneted sideboard topped with pediment decorated with bellflowers, scrolls and vines around large central crest, supported by front fluted columns and large rear beveled mirror. Lower section includes three bow-front drawers with large carved pulls, three bow-front cabinets with four doors, all bracketed with rope twist columns. Large bottom drawer for linens over bun feet. Measures 93.5 x 77.5 x 28 inches. Very good restored condition.
