169: A MAHOGANY MORRIS CHAIR WITH CARVED WINGED GRIFFIN

Mahogany reclining Morris chair made in Grand Rapids, Michigan, circa 1905. Solid ribbon mahogany construction throughout with large stylized winged griffins supporting arms, terminating in generous claw feet on wooden casters. Four reclining positions with adjustable bar. Measures 39 x 28 x 28 inches. Very good restored condition.
