'FLYING TIGERS' SQUADRON PATCHES Circa 1941-1942, First American Volunteer Group (AVG) of the Chinese Air Force nicknamed the 'Flying Tiger, two painted leather patches mounted on a wooden plaque.3. WWII 671st BOMBARDMENT SQUADRON PATCH Circa 1943-1945, an embroidered USAF insignia patch for the 671st Bombardment Squadron, polychrome thread on a teal backing. Patches measure 4.75 to 6.25 inches. The plaque measures 10.25 x 7.75 inches. Leather patches show light scuffs and losses, very good condition overall.
