A WWII 500th BOMBARDMENT 'ROUGH RAIDERS' SQUADRON PATCH Circa 1942-1945, an embroidered USAF insignia patch for the 500th Bombardment Squadron, polychrome thread on a teal backing. This emblem was used during WWII instead of the official patch, it was not approved until 1954 however. Measures 5 inches each. Light toning on the 500th, very good condition.
