SSI; five place ribbon bars; Discharge insignia ; Six DI's; Good Conduct Medal; Pfc. rank insignia ; Pair Enlisted Quartermaster collar insignia, Pair Enlisted Armor collar insignia ; Expert badge with Small Bore Rifle bar; Marksman badge with Rifle bar; CCC SSI; MDW SSI; Ports of Embarkation SSI; 3rd Armored Div. SSI. Unit Yard Long Photo. Sgt. T-4 Raymond A. Gregg, 249th Signal Operations Company, European Theatre. Riker Mount containing: T/Sgt. Stripe; pair of Dog Tags with chain plus one single; Good Conduct Medal with ribbon; Three place ribbon bar; three overseas bars; Pair of enlisted Infantry collar brass. Good Conduct Medal; ETO Campaign Medal with four stars; American Campaign medal; WWII Victory medal; Sharpshooter, Rifle. Sgt. Gregg entered active military service 2 Feb 1943. He was assigned to the Signal Corps with duty specialty as repairman and switchboard installer. He was shipped to the European Theatre effective 12 Aug 1944, seeing action near Rome, Southern France, the Rhineland and Central Europe. When the war ended, he returned to the US on 5 Sept 1945. Raymond Gregg was discharged on 11 Nov 1945.
