455: TWELVE FINE HAND PAINTED WEDGWOOD SERVICE PLATES

The set with gold feathered gadroon edge is decorated in hand painted floral sprays with roses, each plate and nearly every spray being a unique composition.
Measures 10 inches.
Very good condition. There are no chips, cracks, repairs, scratches or areas of heavy wear. Two have very short utensil marks, otherwise great shine overall.
Provenance: The collection of Josephine Bird Hall (1888 - 1948) by descent to her son, the present owner. Josephine's father was a founder of Kansas City's Emery, Bird, Thayer Department Store.
