5762: A WILLIAM SPRATLING CAST LINK BRACELET STAMPED 980

The thick, heavy cast silver links are deeply carved and slightly patinated in a technique that enhances the design. The interior is stamped TAXCO and 980, along with the Spratling workshop hallmark.

Taxco silver jewelry stamped with the 980 silver standard mark (980 parts pure silver out of 1000 as opposed to only 925 parts for sterling) is thought to be have been made prior to 1950.
Measures 7 inches, bracelet width 1 inch, weighs 3.2 ozt.
Very good condition throughout, no damage, repair or heavy wear.
