The winter landscape with a woodland path at sunset is signed B. Lambert, lower left. This is a pseudonym for the prolific Austrian artist Karl Kaufmann. The work is displayed in a high quality carved and gilded wood frame of the same period.

Very good condition, noting a few chips to the antique frame from the late 19th century.
