6: A FINE FRENCH ART NOUVEAU BRONZE CENTERPIECE

The unusual centerpiece or vase, possibly a photograph holder, is presented in the form of an artist's palette within a frame of sinuous, organic bronze metalwork patinated as green leaves, brown cattail heads, veined leaves and gilt stems. The beveled glass sides enclose hand painted cloth panels with florals and a genre scene of lovers signed E. Bayard.
Measures 20 x 12.5 x 8.75 inches.
Very good condition, noting the loss of one leaf attachment. No other damage, wear or repair.
