6: HANDSOME RHODES TWO-COLOR TOOLED LEATHER CHAPS W/SILVER

This fine two-color batwing chap pair exhibits exceptional patina. The chrome tanned leather in a beautiful warm honey color is trimmed by, and mounted with, heavily tooled leather in two other colors of mahogany against a stained black recessed background comprising the waist belt, side trim and pouches with flaps. Each leg is embellished with four STERLING SILVER domed conchos having a petal-form border and hand engraved decoration anchoring the back side snap loops. The sterling silver and all other elements display very good, original untouched patina.
Measures 38 x 32 inches. Waist measurement is 34 inches.
Very good condition throughout, no damage, repair or heavy wear.
