A hand written memo to Lieutenant Cole ordering the release of a ''certain Negro who was incarcerated by JR Roberts'' on the eighth day of May 1862;

Four-page letter Danville, Kentucky, March 20, 1862;

Two pages double sided letter Independence, Missouri, October 21, 1865 accounting document W Chrisman (likely the Chrisman of Independence Missouri);

Military commission First Lieutenant, Seventh Regiment Kansas Volunteers;

Independence, Missouri, December 9, 1864; discharge for private from Illinois cavalry November, 1865;

Ammunition to??: Hand written permission for meal for 30 men; 1864 Power of Attorney for member of German Regiment Missouri Volunteers; 1864 power of attorney William M Franklin; 1863 hand written exemption from service Office of Provost Marshal General St. Louis division, 1862 permission to go to Illinois???? Mr. William H Franklin has permission to cross the Missouri river into Ray county; Provost Marshal; Jefferson City, Missouri, April 10, 1865 letter with Congress blind stamp, regarding power of attorney; letter from Colonel Barton Bates, Saint Charles, Missouri from JW reader, Macon city, Missouri, September 6, 1862; discharge from the company, sixth regiment of Missouri volunteers, January 1863, with pay amount, and pay master receipt; enlistment of Richmond, Barnes, as soldier in the Army of the United States of America, 1862;

Hand written receipt from headquarters Company, G Knob Noster, Missouri, December 11, 1862 for 13 bushels and 1/3 of corn and 94 pounds of hay for the use of the Missouri Enrolled Militia which will be settled on account by the quartermaster of this regiment, signed illegibly; Grand Army of the Republic Department of Kansas headquarters in Elk City post number 128 certifies that Conrad Robert Gardner is a member honorably discharged 1886.
