136: A LATE 19TH CENTURY CHEYENNE BEADED CHILD CRADLE HOOD

The 19th century example in original unrestored condition is beaded with geometric designs in six colors of beads, some being faceted, suggesting, along with other factors, the period as late 19th century. The Native made beaded cradle hood is integrated with a later cloth wrapped stand for display.
Measures 41 x 8 x 8.5 inches without the base.
Good original unrestored condition as shown with losses.
