135: A PAIR OF FIGURAL WATERFOWL ANDIRONS SIGNED CAHILL

The cast and forged iron pair surmounted as stylized representations of geese or swans are stamped CAHILL in a stylized emblem back of each figure just above the dogs. The Cahill Iron Company operated in Chattanooga, Tennessee from 1875 until 1921, providing context for the creation of this pair.
Each measures 20.25 x 9 x 17.25 inches.
Very good condition throughout, no damage, repair or heavy wear.
